Thanks, Lee! I was a bit concerned after I posted it that we don't see Vigilante's heroism in action in the last chapter before the epilogue, but I couldn't figure out a way to make it work in that foreign setting. Plus, it sets Vigilante in the actual time period where he was found. I basically used the Nebula-Man rocks in a slightly different way than they were used in the Crimson Avenger story to explain how Vigilante could have ended up in the Old West for 20 years (as he was in the Post-Crisis stories) but then ended up in the Pre-Columbian American West as seen in the JLA crossover where he was found by Green Arrow, Black Canary, Johnny Thunder and his Thunderbolt, a time period that was roughly a thousand years ago.
Also, I've kind of added some retroactive continuity by suggesting that the Vigilante's 1950s stories were actually done by the second Vigilante, the former original Johnny Thunder. I figured, if we had a second Green Arrow and Speedy team, why not a second Vigilante working alongside the original Stuff the Chinatown Kid? I actually wrote the first draft of the epilogue before I wrote the entire story, so if it seems a bit jarring, that's why.
We once had plans to do a "JSA: MIA" story taking place in 1949, the year that the JSA was missing, but unfortunately that story was derailed by a bunch of nonsense that didn't fit, and the idea was abandoned. If we ever do get back to it, Vigilante II could be one of the active characters.

I like the idea of J. Thunder filling in for Vigilante.
