Although Chrissie Nightstar didn't always write stories that fit in 5EP, she always wrote stories that were compelling to read. Some of the stories she contributed to 5EP would likely translate to another universe with only minor editing. (A universe such as otherearth.xyz, for example <g>).
However, I don't want to simply commandeer her work. What I'd like to do is a) collect her work and determine which stories we determined to be out of continuity which might be easily adaptable to Other Earth and b) contact her and ask if she would mind if I made some edits and then used some of her stories, while giving her proper credit.
I have an old email exchange with her, but the email address is no longer valid, and I don't find her after doing a google search.
So, does anyone have a list of Chrissie stories (it sounds like something our official historian might have compiled ) and does anyone have a more current email address for her? I last talked to her in 2013.
Thanks!
Dan

I think I may have a list of her stories somewhere. I'll look for it and If I find it, I'll post it here.

Good news, I'm re-making it.
Please, do collect her stories, she was a great writer, even if her continuity was a little crazy. Still, in a strange way,m she reminded me of reading comics from the "bad old days" in the 1970s, where DC introduced ideas like Nasty Luthor, Lex's niece. Sometimes, it takes a little madness to write great comics.

Thanks, John, she had a couple more on Earth S - the Earth S Creeper, and Siren Marvel (Cirena of Atlantis). I probably won't reuse her stories unless I hear from her. They need more editing than I remembered. But I agree, she is a good storyteller.

I remember that I once invented an origin for Siren Marvel, which fit perfectly into the history of Earth-S without interfering with the timeline of Shazam or Black Adam

Mine involved the time Mary Marvel and Georgia Sivana visited Atlantis. Chrissie was OK with it, too, but it was at about the same time that she got fed up with being forced to color inside the lines, so it never made it to the board. I hope she found a place to write where they didn't have continuity guidelines...

FYI, I'm planning on publishing the following stories to the Five Earths Project site after I've finished proofreading them, since they work in our continuity without too much "fixing" needed. The three stories in this list are actually quite good: - I, Vampire too
- The Streetfighter
- Like Clockwork
These three stories have already been rewritten under other names. Only the Earth-X one has been published to the site so far as "The Clock Strikes": - Times Past 1951: Forgotten Hero — see Bobo
- C.R.I.M.E. Task Force Mission two meet Suicide Squad / C.R.I.M.E. - Mission Recruitment — see Suicide Squad: The Profit of War
- The Mask of the Hornet — see The Clock Strikes
Publishing soon: - Superboy: The Saint Valentine's Mess — renamed Superboy: My Impish Valentine, to be published on February 14, 2019

One of the stories that I though was interesting was the one about 6-year old clones on the JLA being created in another dimension, and then escaping to Earth. It was called "Just Us Brats." I know that a lot of people complained at the time that it didn't work in continuity, becasue all the Justice Leaguers would have felt responsible for the kids and would have adopted them, rather than leave them in an orphanage. That would, of course, have interfered with a lot of authors' plans for those characters and their families and allies. However, I though up a solution for the story that would resolve the problem neatly. It was clearly indicated, by the clone of Batman, that the clones possess the same knowledge as their adult selves. From their perspective, they are mature adults in the bodies of children. They neither want no need to be treated like children. What they need is an environment where there condition will be considered normal, and they can build their own lives.
The perfect place for that would be the planet Ghera, from Green Lantern #59. On Ghera, a plague wiped out the adult population, but stopped the ageing of the children. Because of their advanced technology, the civilization survived, and remains populated by unaging children, all of whom would have near-adult level maturity, or at least experience, by this point. The clones could settle on that world and become it's champions. They could even end the war on that world, which is presumably still going on, since Hal Jordan only learned about the planet by viewing an alternate reality where Guy Gardner was the first Green Lantern. On Earth-1 there was nobody yet to end the war.

It’s funny that you mention Ghera, as I planned to use it in a Guy Gardner story at some point. Also, not sure if you’ve read this, but it was my attempt to rework some of that Junior JLA concepts using already existing characters for the most part. forum.5earths.com/thread/395/secret-files-galaxo-studios-presentsI was thinking of doing a follow up by rewriting/continuing the Just Us Brats story to fit with the existing Super Juniors plus a few more. Since it doesn’t have an ending, the Ghera idea is possible.

Not to pile one here, but I have to agree with you on this. As someone who was writing and editing finished work, she presented a challenge when it came to "playing well with others". That does not mean her work was not creative - it definitely was. But, at the end of the day, the 5EP was always founded upon respect for one another and working together. We strove for something more than what had been going on in the comic book companies at the time which could border on "wild wild west" to "chaos".
