I did notice the chapter titles- subtle but appreciated.
The end seemed a bit rushed. It feels like there had been all this buildup with Steel and how to get free of him (for both Gypsy and Steve Trevor) only for the actual payoff to be Steel just giving in. And a lot of Gypsy's information gathering was off panel- sort of show don't tell.
Gypsy had already left her biological family before she even encountered the JL Detroit. She wasn't just gone the three years she'd been on Earth 2, she'd been gone for a bit before that. And it didn't seem like Gypsy was missing her parents as much as she was Vixen and to a lesser extent her fellow Detroit members. So why did she return to her family as opposed to trying to reconnect with her old teammates and build a life from there. I mean we can make guesses but I wish it had been spelled out better.
Oh, and just to be clear I wouldn't have these criticisms if the story didn't appeal to me.

I liked the story. It was a good way to tie up loose ends

Commander Steel is a complicated guy. I think part of him just realized he wasn't going to keep control of the situation, and he needed to make a big gesture to show he's still a good guy. I could have spelled things out a lot more, I guess, but I think all the elements are there for the reader to draw their own conclusions. Some will conclude he's a villain, others might conclude he's a corrupted hero, others might conclude he's that way because the responsibility of his role demands him to be, sort of like a General in a war who needs to make a choice between only two decisions in which either decision will result in people getting hurt or killed. I think Libby would see him more as a villain, and Starsky would see him more as a hardass type who has to make hard decisions all the time; I wanted to tread the line between both views. As I said, he's complicated.
The ending is intentionally open-ended. The way I see it, Gypsy has no idea at all what happened to the JLA led by Aquaman and then Martian Manhunter, other than the two other heroes who were (basically) kidnapped to Earth-2 are dead. She's tired. Terribly tired. Not sure she wants to be a hero anymore at all, in fact, even if "her" Justice League even exists any longer (it doesn't). But all that and more is up for grabs to the next person who uses Gypsy as a character in a story.
Speaking of which, Gypsy does have one more appearance on Earth-2. I've got a Suicide Squad story (takes place a few months before Chapter 3 and the Epilogue of this story) I've been slowly developing that will feature Mister Marvel's 2nd and last mission with the Squad. I also wanted to use some of this story to catch up with a few characters who weren't seen in the previous E-2 Suicide Squad story.

I'm glad that Steel chose to do the right thing and share the info on Pariah/Access with Gypsy.
In "Paath of the Immortal", I tried to show him as being complex... someone who skirts the line between villain and anti-hero. He's also aware of his own moral failings, to an extent, which is why he surrounds himself with guys like Steve Trevor and Agent Liberty.

I wonder if having been exposed to his Grandfather for so long would make her feel more drawn to Steel out of sympathy or be a bit repelled by him because of his family tie to the older Heywood and difficulty not being reminded of the old man when she sees Steel She might make a good Titan?.

I had the same thought that she might make a good Titan or even an Outsider.
I look forward to when she finds out Vixen is alive.
