You know, I'll bet a lot of super powered individuals find the need to retreat for a time. Maybe there could be an ongoing series about this place and other people spending some time there. Not just good guys or anti-heroes, but maybe bad guys too. And maybe the relationships they forge there might change their lives...
Drew Hayes in his Superpowered series had a place where they sent heroes-in-training who were considered to be too powerful for the standard hero training system; also they sent delinquent heroes in training there to work on their attitudes. It was only barely revealed. There was a lot of mystery around the place, none of the characters in the stories knew much about it. I would really have loved to see more of it.

Any connection between Val and Valentine? Is Will the Thunderbolt's son, Willaim Twotrees aka Will Power? No for the first question. Val is someone we’ve seen before, though. I gave Valentine the She-Wolf name to differentiate the characters a bit more since their first names are so similar. As for the second, I was hoping you’d guess that. Yeah, I thought it was time he was brought back.

I’ve had thoughts very similar to those. With Rest-Haven, it might be interesting to note that a Rest-Haven exists on at least four worlds that we know of thanks to the Plastic Man of each: Earth-2, Earth-X, Earth-1, and Earth-12 (and perhaps Earth-C-Minus if Plastic Snake lives there).

Just as long as it's not like that godawful Haven from "Heroes in Crisis". Tom King is a hack! it's an insult to people who actually suffer from PTSD. The 'treatment' the people staying there would be dangerous and irresponsible in real life.

I've never read that, but I'd have to agree that Tom King is at least highly overrated. This story isn't based on any existing series or story.

I was thinking along the lines Doc has shown, a place where unusual guests are welcomed, a truce is enforced among all the guests and there are strong rules for appropriate behavior. A place where you might run into really unexpected people - and because of the rules, you can ignore them or interact peacefully, but not fight. And there might be other services offered, like, testing to determine your powers and training in how to use them in imaginative ways, counseling for those suffering from trauma, meal service, perhaps scheduled recreations... where you might one day be exercising your powers in a remote training sight, and notice that not far away, someone else is doing some similar singular training - and that might be someone you would consider an enemy outside...

Regarding the 'existing on several worlds' idea - I think it should not be a nexus where people can cross from one to the other (like Grim Island) but maybe the staff in each of the worlds is able to communicate with the staff in the other worlds, maybe in kind of a virtual reality where they can go into a chamber and virtually interact with other people in other similar chambers, without ever actually leaving their own worlds. So they could sit in easy chairs and chat - even though none of them are really in the same place...

Edit note: I’m changing She-Wolf’s name to Leto, after the Titaness who gave birth to Apollo in the form of… a she-wolf.
