who isn't a crazy these days? thanks for posting! I don't remember any specific toons - you must be doing some research. Although I CAN sing the theme to the Bugs Bunnyt / Roadrunner show. 'This is it, the night of nights, this is it, we'll it the heights, and on what heights we'll hit - on with the show, this is it!' (I know the rest of it too... and the Huckleberry Hound theme, and Felix the Cat, and Top Cat...) Very impressive! Would Bugs be immortal since he was around in so many different eras? I'd be more inclined to say they were his ancestors, or maybe Bugs is a time traveler.

apparently there are role playing games involving Bugs; there is a site that describes his character here: vsdebating.fandom.com/wiki/Bugs_Bunny_(Composite)
John's Earth L is definitely not bound by anything to be found there, but it does have some interesting information. Looks like there are lots of 'crazies' in the world

Given that Buggs apparent ancestors possess evident physiological, behavioural and interpersonal traits strongly akin to his own, that may be more circumstantial evidence for inferences about the existence of strong genetic imprinting within his ancestry (and possibly also descendants).

I prefer immortality rather than imprinting - only 1 Bugs Bunny!

I prefer immortality rather than imprinting - only 1 Bugs Bunny! I prefer to think he is tunneling through time.... "...And so Doctor Bugs Bunny finds himself digging from life to life, striving to put right what once went wrong, and hoping each time that his next dig will be the dig home…”
"Oh boy.... musta taken a wrong turn at Albuquerque..."

Perhaps he's eating quantum enhanced exotic matter carrots that fuel his time tunnelling?

"Oh boy.... musta taken a wrong turn at Albuquerque..."That works too...

Bugs is also seemingly aware of this very website and keeps greeting our august administrator: "What's Up, Doc?" isn't just phatic communion. I think Bugs is clearly involved in quantum tunnelling across the multiverse and uses Albuquerque as an interdimensional staging point.

There could be interesting opportunities for pastiche characters, given these prodigious and hitherto unsuspected abilities. Is a future or alternate incarnation of Bugs Dr Bunnhattan? Or Dr Bugshattan? Or is Bugs in fact one of the Bunnitors, the advanced lagomorph companion creatures of the Monitors?

maybe he'll witness a spaceship crash and the dying ai in the ship will grant him the ability to change his form by polishing his ring and then speaking some magic words?

No, Daffy's already got that base covered- he's the Green Lantern Corps member on Earth-WB.

for that matter, Bugs was once Super-Rabbit
