Yet another omission
Zook comes from an unnamed parallel world in an unknown dimension. When Martian Manhunter defeats a pair of alien crooks also from Zook's world . The strange child like Zook becomes stranded n Earth in the aftermath of this case and becomes J'Onn's sidekick. Zook can track humans and emanate hot and Cold.

The Green Glob was only brought back once as far as I know. In 1991 (way post crisis) it was captured by Gorilla Grodd in the Angel and the Ape miniseries. At that time it was discovered to be an AI teaching machine created by the Gaurdians of the Universe.
