I've begun going through the 5earthswriters group from the beginning, and copying the messages along with the author, time-stamp, and message number in the following format (see below)

Once I'm done, I think I'll just post a yearly "digest" of 5earthswriters posts in the appropriate forum, called something like "5earthswriters posts 2001", and so on. One of the things I use most in the Yahoo Groups that will no longer work very soon is the ability to look up characters mentioned in old posts. If they're here in this forum, you should be able to search for them and hopefully find what you want.

With the addition of Maria Gaynor (El Castiga) the Whip's
granddaughter, we now have 300 characters in the database. We still
need some of the Operation Liberty characters like Malone, Iron
Monroe, Fortress, etc. and some Suicide Squad types like Carnage,
Steel, etc. Feel free to change as needed. Just thought of one left
out: Solomon Grundy! Can't forget that chalk faced swamp rat!
