Okay, so the theme of this brief excursion into the DC multiverse was what would have happened if Bruce Wayne had been elsewhere when he saw the totemic animal (or object) that inspired him to fight crime. All of them have subsequently appeared in the New 52 Multiverse.
The Scorpion is the Batman analogue of his Earth (Earth-41)
The Stingray is the Batman analogue of the Super-Americans (Earth-34)
The Owl is the Batman analogue of the Light Brigade (Earth-35)
Iron Knight is the Batman analogue of Justice 9 (Earth-36)
Shooting Star is the Batman analogue of the Love Syndicate of Dreamworld (Earth-47)

All of which raises some interesting tangential questions. Clearly, Thomas Wayne Jr also saw an owl on Earth-3 and became Owlman as a consequence. So, what about other Batman analogues? As you can see from the link, these various alternate Bruces were in different locations than Wayne Manor- the Scorpion was in the desert, the Stingray was taking a seaside vacation, the Owl was walking through a forest, the Iron Knight was inspired by a museum exhibit and the Shooting Star saw a meteorite. Which doesn't exhaust the list of possibilities. So, which alternate superhero identity would you give Bruce and why?
(Okay, there are some slightly humorous versions, such as (er) Shards of Glass Man here)... kerrycallen.blogspot.com/2011/03/if-bruces-mood-had-been-different-that.html
.(..and er... the Coluan "Woman Man" from LEGION 94 Annual 5 here...although I suspect that's Vril Dox, not Bruce): scans-daily.dreamwidth.org/5630803.html
