Hal Jordan (Green Lantern) and Bobby Caswell (Thunderbunny) both 'found' alien spaceships, inside of which were aliens who granted them their powers. Any other heroes get powers from this same plot? Jim Chisholm (Strobe) is a pastiche by me of Hal. I think in Big Bang comics, Dr. Julia Gardner (the Beacon) got her powers this way too. Anyone else?

Quality's Ace of Space and DC's Earth 1 Animal Man come to mind.

One of the original (non-Batman and) Outsiders was a human who was rebuilt after crashing on an alien planet. I forget if he got [powers, but there were unique things as they rebuilt him without knowing what a human was or what we were supposed to look like.
And on Earth-2 the JSA villain Vulcan was also rebuilt after some accident with the sun by a passing alien.
