Okay, so in my Infinite Earths Justice Alliance series, I'm going to resurrect the Demons Three from the early Justice League days, although the question is, should I? When Abnegazar, Ghast and Rath turned up in "Crisis in the 30th Century" during their last JLA appearance, which was a three-way JLA/JSA/Legion of Super-Heroes team-up, the JSA hadn't encountered any analogues to them on Earth-Two, which suggests that the Demons Three may well be isomorphic to Earth-One alone for some reason. I take it that Hades/Hell/the Big Burny Place is transdimensional, so how could I play that? Abnegazar and Rath wiped each other out in their last appearance, leaving Ghast the only survivor and trapped in the recreated JLA satellite, which had disintegrated between the twentieth and thirtieth centuries, disgorging the artefacts that the Timeless Ones used to imprison the Demons Three in the first place.
One possibility is for Ghast to stay imprisoned in the recreated JLA satellite for aeons, until the Sun burns out and proton decay destroys all matter. Then, finding that there is no way to travel backward in time, he decides to cross universes and heads back to Hades to recruit another two demons to attack his new home universe, Universe-500. So I imagine that Hades is another dimension altogether and not linked to any specific alternate universe. Universe-500 therefore has its quota of assigned demonic entities just as Earth-One does. Were there any other instances in which Earths Two, Four or S faced their own demonic entities without analogues elsewhere in the known multiverse?
