As is common knowledge, if it hadn't been for the reboot of the Batman concept by Julius Schwartz, the sixties Batman television series and the darker reaction against it, Batman might have been cancelled Slightly later, Wonder Woman lost her Amazon abilities and Diana Prince became a plainclothes adventurer akin to the UK Avengers character Emma Peel. Now, no-one has segued the two concepts together to my knowledge, so here's my take on this. On an alternate Earth (Earth-1965?), Bruce Wayne is either exposed as Batman, loses Wayne Manor and much of his fortune as well as Robin and Alfred, and becomes a plainclothes adventurer himself. One thing leads to another and Bruce and Diana team up as Earth-1965's Revengers. They leave the Justice League, with Superman bewildered at the change in both of his long-term friends and allies. In this AU, Diana never regains her abilities, but builds a life with Bruce instead. As for Superman and the Justice League, they have to fend for themselves without Bruce's intellect. Perhaps in this AU, Green Arrow doesn't lose his fortune and steps into Bruce's role as team equipper. How would things be different on this Earth and how would they develop after the sixties? I'm assuming Bruce and Diana form a permanent team here.
