(OK, it wasn't the real Power Ring, it was an Earth 2 human who was ensorcelled by the Lord of Chaos Wotan, using the ring of Alan Scott/Green Lantern, which Wotan had stolen. After the story ended, Green Lantern conferred with Dr. Fate and came up with a method of preventing his ring from being stolen again...)
