The world of multiverse DC of "Justice League: The New Frontier" . It all starts at the top. Earth-21 was once a world where the American government treated super heroes with trepidation. Leaders gave in to paranoia and actively pursued vigilantes, while the tumultuous times faced by this world strained international relationships. The US was at the height of its Cold War with the Soviet Union and in the midst of the Civil Rights movement and atomic testing. The nation and planet as a whole were under immense pressure and strain. And then President John F. Kennedy took office. On Earth-21, Kennedy was never assassinated. Instead, his optimism proved contagious and under his guidance, the United States of America embraced the future. Citizens stood a little taller and turned their eyes ahead and up toward the stars. They found their sense of wonder. The stalwart leader repaired the tenuous connection between his country and those with super powers, and the faithful Justice League of America was formed to guard the world and its ideals. Superman / Clark Kent , Batman / Bruce Wayne , Wonder Woman / Princess Diana of Themyscira / Diana Prince , Robin / Dick Grayson , Capitain Marvel / Billy Batson , Captain Atom /Cameron Scott , Adam Strange , The Challengers of the Unknown ( Kyle "Ace" Morgan , Matthew "Red" Ryan , Leslie "Rocky" Davis , Walter Mark "Prof" Haley and June Robbins ) , Doctor Fate / Kent Nelson , The Spectre / Jim Corrigan , Hourman / Rex Tyler , Colonel Rick Flag , The Atom / Ray Palmer , Dr Will Magnus and The Metal Men (Copper, Gold, Iron, Lead, Mercury, Nameless, Platinum, Tin and Tungsten ), Green Lantern / Hal Jordan, Green Arrow / Oliver Queen , Martian Manhunter / J'onn J'onzz / John Jones, Aquaman / Arthur Curry , Flash / Barry Allen, Mister Terrific / Michael Holt and other pioneers and adventurers now stand at the forefront of Earth-21’s progress and exploration, an inspiration to us all.

I suppose a lot depends on what Earth-21's current present day is- it's always seemed to me to be the early sixties. In which case, a few more superheroes could be added to this line up- Batwoman (Kathy Kane), Bat-Girl (Betty Kane), Aqualad, Speedy, Wonder Girl (as Wonder Woman's younger self), Kid Flash, some of the Green Lantern Corps members, Elongated Man, and possibly a permanently powered up Lois Lane as Superwoman. It goes without saying Robin, Aqualad Speedy and Kid Flash would not yet have formed a Teen Titans group, although the younger incarnation of the Legion of Superheroes might visit the twentieth century and Supergirl might exist, albeit before the disclosure of her existence to the public at large. Metamorpho also comes to mind. Hey, excellent graphic, Kaiser!

Metamorpho also comes to mind. Hey, excellent graphic, Kaiser! Yes . Exactly these 60s characters exist in the Earth-21 of Justice League: The New Frontier. For example Superwoman / Lois Lane she was never married to Clark Kent the Superman but the two could have been. No one believed in Lois's potential as a super heroine, but when she did, she did incredibly good and became the second biggest heroine in the world alongside Wonder Woman. There is also the original Batwoman / Kathy Kane (who is not a lesbian but straight) and Bat-Lady / Betty Kane that was the first batgirl preceding Barbara Gordon . There are also Teen Titans (formed by Robin / Dick Grayson, Aqualad / Garth, Kid Flash / Wally West, Wonder Girl / Donna Troy, Speedy / Roy Harper) who are taking their first steps and who for the moment maintain all possible optimism in the future and do not expect to see any members betray the group or die tragically.Similarly there is the Doom Patrol made up of: The Chief, Robotman, Elasti-Girl, Negative Man, Mento and Beast Boy and they don't even think about dying in vain and futile sacrifice dying in a nuclear blast.Yes . Metamorpho also exists. So good are your ideas on how to introduce the Legion of Super Heroes and Supergirl. And Thanks for the compliment to graphic.

It's also the age of the New Gods of the Fourth World of Jack Kirby so Darkseid already exists lurking in the shadows like a possible opponent for Justice League: The New Frontier superheroes of Earth-21. The Forever People already exists (Mark Moonrider, Beautiful Dreamer, Big Bear, Serifan, Vykin the Black, Infinity Man) , Orion, Lightray, Mister Miracle and Big Barda also exist. The Global Guardians also exist at this time: (Owlwoman, Doctor Mist, Belphegor, Seraph, Jack O'Lantern, Godiva, Thunderlord, Wild Huntsman, The Olympian, Red Star, Tuatara, Tasmanian Devil, Little Mermaid, Bushmaster, Green Fury, Ice Maiden [Tora Olafsdotter], Ice Maiden [Sigrid Nansen], Tundra, Centrix, Chrysalis, Cascade, Fleur-de-Lis, Impala, Rising Sun).

Hmm. One other suggestion- the original Suicide Squad, which consisted of physicist Jess Bright; astronomer Dr. Hugh Evans; Rick Flag Jr., the team leader; and Karin Grace/Davies, flight medic. The team's introductory story depicted them dealing with a super-heated red-hued object, the "Red Wave", which was heading toward the Atlantic east coast of the United States and boiling the ocean along the way. The original Suicide Squad travelled in a plane equipped with a testing and analysis lab. The team also dealt with a variety of other challenges. These included a meteor storm (the radiation from which causes them to shrink), as well as a giant snake in the Paris metro tunnels, and a giant monster that captures Karin as well as a nuclear bomb. The team finally encountered dinosaurs and met the leader of the Cyclops from Greek myth.

I didn't know about the original Suicide Squad but from what you said it seems like an extremely welcome addition to Earth-21 heroes. The only thing that needs to be remembered is that as President John F. Kennedy would hardly endorse a shadowy secret organization that performs dark missions for the American Government as an extremely integral leader the Suicide Squad would have to be a secret organization that unbeknownst to the president of the USA himself.

Not neccessarily. Judging from their list of operational missions, the original Suicide Squad seems to have been oriented toward specialist scientific and paranormal events, probably with the full knowledge of the US President and armed forces hierarchy, and possibly also the United Nations as well, given the incident in the Paris metro. I don't think it was all that secretive, and therefore definitely quite unlike Amanda Waller and her press-ganged supervillain black ops team on Earth-0.

Really well placed I think the first Suicide Squad should be a fully US Government-sanctioned team known to other Earth-21 superhero groups like the Justice League, the Chalengers of the Unknown, the Doom Patrol, the Teen Titans etc. and should report directly to President John F. Kennedy and the United Nations since at that time there was not yet a counterpart to Amanda Waller to form a group of supervillains who secretly perform dark missions to the USA government in exchange for the commutation of their prison sentences in jail. But one thing came to mind… is it at this time under President John F. Kennedy's government that the violent civil rights demonstrations of Black African Americans took place? Like would there be Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X? Did Martin Luther King Jr. happen, just as President John F. Kennedy was never murdered and succeeded in revolutionizing the struggle for the rights of Black African Americans? Type would we have versions of Superheroes black africans equal : Steel / John Henry Irons, Mister Terrific / Michael Holt, Black Lightning / Jefferson Pierce, Cyborg / Victor Stone etc?

I think things got overheated later on, during the aftermath of Kennedy's assassination and the emergence of white supremacist resistence to the desegregation of the Southern United States, as well as the assassinations of Martin Luther King (who was committed to Mahatma Gandhi's principles of nonviolent resistance) and Malcolm X, who was on the verge of renouncing his earlier militancy, in 1968. Their loss fomented the rise of more militant Black Power groups. With JFK still alive, he may have been able to get faster movement on civil rights concerns earlier in Earth-21's history than occurred in ours under LBJ. Mr Terrific might still be Terry Sloane at the time that the events of New Frontier took place (if there was a JSA in Earth-21's past) and Black Lightning and Cyborg only came along in the seventies and eighties. However, with greater progress on civil rights, Cyborg might look different- perhaps more humanoid?- in Earth-21's 1980s and perhaps Steel as well, given that more funding for their research projects would result from the accelerated pace of civil rights. Much the same would happen when Michael Holt took over as Mister Terrific for the same reason. Speaking of which, if Earth-21 did have a JSA, I wonder what happened to Amazing Man on this world, as he was also African-American?

Speaking of which, if Earth-21 did have a JSA, I wonder what happened to Amazing Man on this world, as he was also African-American? Well put that your thought. I think that if President John F. Kennedy was never murdered, he would be able to deal extremely consciously reasonably and lucidly with Black African American civil rights movements and to be able to diplomatically dialogue with black african americans leaders of opposing-minded like Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X so that the two would eventually reach a consensus between their divergent lines of ideology and that President John F. Kennedy could make immense progress in the fight for civil rights of the black african americans from USA. I had not thought of that but you're right Mister Terrific is Terry Sloane but let's suppose on Earth-21 Terry Sloane is a Black African American indeed Black Lightning and Cyborg would only actually emerge in the 70's and 80's but well put I imagine that Cyborg on Earth-21 would have a more human appearance like the character of the series "The Six Million Dollar Man" with synthetic skin covering its limbs with the only difference that he would be a more human-looking superpowered Cyborg . I also agree with your ideas about Steel / John Henry Irons and Mister Terrific / Michael Holt .About Amazing Man in the world of Justice League: The New Frontier he is William Everett, Sr. who would be one of Martin Luther King Jr.'s main activists.
