I agree. I'd also like to here more about the developments of the US Government since the Ultra-Humanite's puppet was elected President. I thought he was arrested? Sorry, it's been a long time since I read that series. But it seems possible that when it is discovered that a super villain was elected President, the people might call for a new election. And maybe the national security agencies will start putting in place some new measures aimed at detecting this kind of impersonation again in the future. And the populace might be ok with some measures too... how about using a telepath to scan candidates minds to make sure they are who they claim to be? And there might be some kind of creeping paranoia in the populace that allows the government to put in tighter and tighter security measures, and this might be just the smoking gun Vandal Savage needs to once again steer civilization towards totalitarianism with him in charge...
Or maybe it will turn Earth 2 into Georwell...
Geez, I hate having such dark thoughts about Earth 2!

I've always wondered about the Poglachian who gave G'nort his phony power band before he became a real Green Lantern. And what powers did the phony band give him? Who got the phony band when G'nort got the real one? I guess G'nort destroyed the power source but maybe there was a backup or he didn't really succeed.
So, maybe G'nort's friend G'norm has the band now, and he teams up the JLI?

The Poglachians are a Post-Crisis concept from the 1990s and thus not applicable here. G'nort actually got his ring from his uncle as per his original origin story.
