You're propably the same johnreiter who wrote a similiar thing about Marvel on alternatehistory.com? I am indeed! Were you a reading it? I'm sorry I won't be able to add anymore, since I was banned I was Roverlord there, we talked a bit about my ideas for my own version. I got permabanned for saying that USA sucks one time too many ( propably. Because when they ban you, you can't see the ban PM or literally anything on the entire site, including the ban thread. I didn't get an email either. So i'm not entirely sure). Not that big of a loss, because i was just there for the Craziest Political Arguments thread and your Marvel Mirror Universe thread and didn't really use the site otherwise. You could post the Marvel profiles (or these too) on Spacebattles or something. There's some kind of a Marvel community (and a DC community) in there, and they don't even have a login wall to seeing the forums like alternatehistory does.

There's some kind of a Marvel community (and a DC community) in there, and they don't even have a login wall to seeing the forums like alternatehistory does. I ended up joining a new website called The Sietch, which is smaller, and much more respectful of the freedom of speech. Plus, if you get banned, there is an appeals section where you can discuss with the mods why you were banned.
It's so unjust how they ban you, and you can't even see why. It's like if the police arrested you, and when you asked "what are the charges?" you were told "only innocent people are allowed to hear the charges against them." So much for democracy.
I may indeed start posting more on Spacebattles. I have an account there, but I haven't done anything with it. In the meantime, I copied all my posts into a word document, so if you want them, I can attach it here and you can download it.
I kinda wish there was a way I could reach out to all the people who have been banned from alternatehistory and invite them to join The Sietch. More members would increase the discussion, and that way we can show alternatehistory that we will not be silenced
EDIT: BTW, did you ever finish your version?

Exactly. I managed to log out despite that button not working either, by wiping all browser history and cookies, was able to see the site's contact information, and asked why i was cancelled. No response. It could be a good idea to have the stuff posted in more than one place, or indeed keep a Word document or something where everything is in one place and add all the news stuff into it so you won't lose anything, especially with login-to-view sites like alternatehistory. I am still working on the thing, but i have many irons in the fire at all times, including original fiction, so it isn't ready. If you shared the Word file, that'd be nice. I don't knkw which of us got cancelled first, so i might have missed something recent.

Origins: Dr. Shadow The real name of Dr. Shadow is unknown. In recent years, he has used the alias of Wilfred Knox as his secret identity. Dr. Shadow’s earliest memory is wandering through the streets of London in a disheveled state in the year 1838. He was found by the author Charles Dickens, who gave the young man shelter in his home. Knox was very grateful to Dickens for his help, and the two became friends. At first, they assumed he was the victim of some factory accident, but it soon became clear it was an accident of some mystical nature. While they were walking in Hyde Park one evening, the two were attack by a band of robbers, the Ludlow family, Knox discovered he had the power to control shadows and give them substance when he instinctively lashed out and killed all the robbers present. Dickens helped his friend yet again to recover. Knox determined never again to use his powers, lest he harm someone else. He did practice in secret over the years, to improve his control. He found he was immortal, and was forced to move frequently, because some of the Ludlows had survived and were determined to kill him. Whenever he crossed their paths, he tried to protect their victims, but was still too wracked with guilt to hunt them down, or use his powers publicly. Each generation of Ludlows grew more evil than the next however, and increasingly it was only Knox’s efforts which foiled their schemes. Finally, inspired by the mystery men like the Fog and the Queen who had debuted in the 1940s, Knox began to use his powers for the good of all men rather than for selfish self preservation, as the costumed Dr. Shadow in 1942. He could no longer ignore his responsibility to act. His arch-enemies included Jack B. Quick, and the current heir to the Ludlow’s legacy of crime, the Tarantula. Whose counterpart is this guy? Searching "Wilfred Knox" on DC Wiki didn't get anything

Not sure how useful or wanted some of those would be. Iirc Ribbentrop, for one, was extremely incompetent and all the other important nazis hated him. Also, Heydrich died in june 1942. The Battle of Stalingrad started in august 1942, at which point he had been dead for a while. Thank you for you input. I wanted to pick 13 of the most high-ranking Nazis at the time. Maybe I should move to date to 1940? Then there needs to be some other starting point than the nation's disillusionment, because things were still going mostly ok for the nazis in 1940.
