So is your plan to rewrite an existing JSA adventure using Timely heroes? Or team up that group for all-new adventures?

For a Wonder Woman counterpart, how about Black Widow (Claire Voyant)?

Actually, I was just speculating. Don't have a story idea. So many Golden Age Marvel characters would have been well served by a modern day sensibility provided by a title set in 1940s but written in the present day like All-Star Squadron. I always enjoyed the Invaders but there were a lot of Timely characters who never appeared in that title like Angel or Black Marvel for example.

There are a lot of failed heroes from back then that appear to be 'just as good' as the ones that survived and made it to the big time, except for bad writing and in some cases bad luck. The Owl and Miss Owl, to me, could have been as good as Batman and Robin. The Bullets are intrinsically as interesting as the Hawks. Nightmare and Sleepy, before they changed his costume... the Lady in Red and Tomboy are definitely interesting to me.

I know. Personally, I find Lady Satan a particularly interesting character from that era as well. She could be quite an effective protagonist.
